Series 8<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oku Timur, May 16, 2026 \u2014 The English Education Student Association (HIMA PBI) of the Faculty of Education, Universitas Nurul Huda, successfully held the International Seminar on ELT Series 8 with the theme \u201cApplied Linguistics in English Language Teaching: Perspectives and Practices.\u201d The seminar was held in a hybrid format at Campus A <strong>National Seminar on Issues in ELT<\/strong> <strong><em>\u201c<\/em><\/strong><em>Integrating Linguistics into ELT: Theoretical Perspective and Research Methodologies\u201d Series 7<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The English Education Student Association of the Faculty of Education, Nurul Huda University, conducted a National Seminar entitled <strong>\u201cIntegrating Linguistics into ELT: Theoretical Perspectives and Research Methodologies.\u201d<\/strong> This seminar aims to provide a platform for students, academics, and educators to deepen their understanding of the integration of linguistics in English Language Teaching (ELT), particularly in relation to theoretical perspectives and research methodologies. on English Language Teaching \u201cCurrent Trends and Issues<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>International Seminar on ELT \u201cCurrent Trends and Issues\u201d Series 5<\/strong> was organized by the English Education Student Association (HIMA PBI), Faculty of Education, Nurul Huda University (UNUHA). The seminar was held at the <strong>Main Hall of Campus A, Nurul Huda University<\/strong>, on <strong>Monday, July 3, 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was officially opened by the Rector of Nurul Huda University, <strong>Dr. H. Imam Rodin, S.Ag., M.Pd.<\/strong>, followed by several academic presentations from invited speakers. The seminar sessions covered various topics, including current issues in language use, strategies for becoming an effective and happy writer, and discussions on <strong>quantitative and qualitative research methodologies<\/strong>. In addition, parallel seminar sessions were conducted to discuss differences in language use and other relevant topics in English language teaching and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div The seminar was held at the Main Hall of Campus B, Sukaraja, and involved active participation from both lecturers and students of the English Education Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event aimed to improve students\u2019 academic knowledge, communication skills, and motivation in learning English. The seminar featured several presentations delivered by English lecturers and students, discussing various topics related to English language teaching, learning strategies, and current educational issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the seminar created a positive and collaborative atmosphere where students could share ideas, gain new experiences, and strengthen their confidence in public speaking and academic discussions.
