Its uniqueness lies in integrating <strong>Komering local wisdom<\/strong>, allowing students to learn both language and culture simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The comic consists of three main stories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rumah Ulu<\/strong> \u2013 describes the traditional Komering house built on stilts to protect against floods and wild animals, while also serving as an important center of family and cultural life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ningkuk Tradition<\/strong> \u2013 presents a traditional ceremony held to express gratitude or celebrate important events such as weddings and harvests, featuring dances, music, traditional clothing, and local foods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adok Gelar<\/strong> \u2013 explains the tradition of giving honorary titles to a groom after marriage, symbolizing social identity, community acceptance, and expectations for his new role.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, this media serves not only as a tool for learning English but also as a means of <strong>preserving local culture<\/strong>, strengthening students\u2019 cultural identity, and providing a more engaging and contextual learning experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Materi mencakup pengertian, fungsi, dan struktur teks naratif seperti orientation, complication, resolution, dan re-orientation. Tujuan pembelajaran adalah agar siswa mampu memahami, menganalisis, serta menghasilkan teks naratif dalam bahasa Inggris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam LKPD ini, siswa diajak membaca cerita rakyat seperti <em>The Bitter Tongue<\/em> dan <em>Kemaro Island<\/em>, kemudian mengerjakan berbagai latihan, seperti menjawab pertanyaan, mengidentifikasi tokoh, melengkapi kalimat, menyusun kalimat acak, serta mendengarkan dan menulis kembali cerita sesuai struktur naratif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain itu, terdapat kegiatan menulis di mana siswa diminta mengembangkan cerita dengan kata-kata sendiri berdasarkan gambar atau peta konsep.
