1.International Seminar on ELT dengan tema “Applied Linguistics in English Language Teaching: Perspectives and Practices” Series 8

Oku Timur, May 16, 2026 — The English Education Student Association (HIMA PBI) of the Faculty of Education, Universitas Nurul Huda, successfully held the International Seminar on ELT Series 8 with the theme “Applied Linguistics in English Language Teaching: Perspectives and Practices.” The seminar was held in a hybrid format at Campus A Hall, Universitas Nurul Huda, and was attended by participants from different schools and institutions.

2. National Seminar on Issues in ELT Integrating Linguistics into ELT: Theoretical Perspective and Research Methodologies” Series 7

The English Education Student Association of the Faculty of Education, Nurul Huda University, conducted a National Seminar entitled “Integrating Linguistics into ELT: Theoretical Perspectives and Research Methodologies.” This seminar aims to provide a platform for students, academics, and educators to deepen their understanding of the integration of linguistics in English Language Teaching (ELT), particularly in relation to theoretical perspectives and research methodologies. The seminar hold on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 08.00 WIB until completion, at Nurul Huda University.

3. International Workshop of Forum Institusi Layanan Bahasa (FILBA) Series 6 “Every Teacher is a Hero. Every Hero has a Story”

The International Workshop of the Forum Institusi Layanan Bahasa (FILBA) Series 6 was organized by the English Education Student Association (HIMA PBI), Faculty of Education, Nurul Huda University (UNUHA). The event was held in a hybrid format at the Main Hall of Campus A, Nurul Huda University, and also conducted online via Zoom to facilitate broader participation. The workshop took place on Friday and Saturday, June 7–8, 2024.

4. International Seminar on English Language Teaching “Current Trends and Issues

The International Seminar on ELT “Current Trends and Issues” Series 5 was organized by the English Education Student Association (HIMA PBI), Faculty of Education, Nurul Huda University (UNUHA). The seminar was held at the Main Hall of Campus A, Nurul Huda University, on Monday, July 3, 2023.

The event was officially opened by the Rector of Nurul Huda University, Dr. H. Imam Rodin, S.Ag., M.Pd., followed by several academic presentations from invited speakers. The seminar sessions covered various topics, including current issues in language use, strategies for becoming an effective and happy writer, and discussions on quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. In addition, parallel seminar sessions were conducted to discuss differences in language use and other relevant topics in English language teaching and research.

5. Local Seminar “Be Success Learner in Industrial Revolution 4.0″

The English Education Program Local Seminar was organized by the English Education students at STKIP Nurul Huda in 2019. The seminar was held at the Main Hall of Campus B, Sukaraja, and involved active participation from both lecturers and students of the English Education Program.

The event aimed to improve students’ academic knowledge, communication skills, and motivation in learning English. The seminar featured several presentations delivered by English lecturers and students, discussing various topics related to English language teaching, learning strategies, and current educational issues.

In addition, the seminar created a positive and collaborative atmosphere where students could share ideas, gain new experiences, and strengthen their confidence in public speaking and academic discussions. The activity also reflected the spirit of teamwork, creativity, and professional development among the participants.
