English Education Program Successfully Holds Micro Teaching Activity During Accreditation Assessment

OKU Timur — April 28, 2026 The English Education Program, Faculty of Education, Universitas Nurul Huda, successfully conducted a Micro Teaching activity during the Field Assessment (Asesmen Lapangan/AL) for the study program accreditation process. The activity was carried out smoothly and became one of the important academic agendas presented during the accreditation assessment.

The Micro Teaching session was guided by Mrs. Eka Agustina, M.Pd., a lecturer of the English Education Program, who led the classroom activity professionally and interactively. The session was also directly observed by the accreditation assessor, Dr. Yayu Heryatun, M.Pd., from Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin.

The participants of the Micro Teaching activity were second-semester students of the English Education Program. During the session, the students discussed the topic “Degree of Comparison” in the Intermediate English Grammar course. The learning process demonstrated active classroom interaction, students’ participation, and effective teaching strategies implemented in the program.

The successful implementation of this activity reflected the commitment of the English Education Program in maintaining academic quality and improving students’ teaching competencies. Moreover, the activity highlighted the program’s readiness in supporting the accreditation process through innovative and well-organized learning practices.

Through this Micro Teaching activity, the English Education Program of Universitas Nurul Huda continues to strengthen its vision of producing competent, creative, and professional future educators in the field of English language teaching.
